Acrobat Reader 5.0 does not run in a virtual machine

Details

When I try to start Acrobat Reader 5.0 inside a Windows virtual machine, I get an error message and must restart the guest operating system.

Solution

This problem is resolved as of Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 or later. You can download the most recent version at no charge from the Adobe Web site: http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
