VMware Tools on 64-bit Solaris 10 Guests Runs Only in Compatibility Mode; X drivers Not Included

Details

The 32-bit version of VMware Tools runs in compatibility mode on virtual machines running 64-bit Solaris 10. VMware Tools does not include X drivers for 64-bit versions of Solaris 10.

Solution

This is a known issue for VMware Server 1.0.
