Do Not Edit Legacy Virtual Machine on a Network Drive Using VMware Server Console on a Remote Client

Details

You cannot edit a legacy virtual machine located on a network drive using the VMware Server Console from a remote client.

Solution

To work around this issue, use a remote desktop (RDP) client to connect to the host and use the VMware Server Console on the local host to edit the legacy virtual machines.
