VixVM_Delete( ) on Released Virtual Machine Handle Hangs and Incorrectly Deletes the Virtual Machine

Details

Calling VixVM_Delete( ) on a handle of type VIX_VM_HANDLE after the handle has been released causes the client to hang.

Solution

Programming API clients for VMware Server 1.0 should not pass a released handle to any API function.
