Can I use a 4G Brocade switch version 5.0.4 with my ESX Server system?

Solution

When you use a 4G Brocade switch firmware version 5.0.4 with your ESX Server system, RSCN can get lost, causing failover to fail on an ESX Server system.

To avoid this problem, upgrade the firmware on the 4G Brocade switch to version 5.1.0b or higher.
