Programming API Returns Undefined Error Code in Some Situations (3460454)
Details
There are certain situations in which a function in the
Programming API returns an undefined error code. This is known to
occur in these situations: The client calls VixHost_RegisterVM( )
or VixHost_UnregisterVM( ) without having permission to register or
unregister the virtual machine. The client passes an invalid path
name to VixHost_UnregisterVM( ).
Solution
This is a known issue in the Programming API for VMware Server 1.0.
