This article provides links to the VMware Compatibility Guide and the Guest Operating System Installation guide. These guides can help you determine if a Guest Operating System is supported or not.

Solution

The VMware Compatibility Guide is an online tool that allows you to determine compatibility by searching by either VMware product or by operating system. For Fusion, see also Supported Guest Operating Systems in VMware Fusion (1026468).

The Guest Operating System Installation Guide provides instructions for installing the operating system in a virtual machine. See this document for more information and specifics.
