When the Host Boots After a Failure, the HA Service Does Not Start and an HA Error Occurs on the Host

Details

My host failed, then booted successfully. Why do I get an HA error on the host, and why doesn't the HA service start up?

Solution

Sometimes when a host boots up after a failure, there is a problem rejoining the rest of the cluster and an error is reported on the HA service on the host.

To work around this issue, use the ReconfigureHA task on the host to correctly configure the HA service on the host.
