Windows 2003 SP1 System Stops Responding When I Mount Volumes

Solution
This issue has been observed occasionally in MSCS clustered configurations and rarely in non-clustered configurations. It is a known problem. Microsoft knowledge base article number 910048 covers this issue. It is characterized by the following error code:

- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1, used with:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition (32-bit x86)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition (32-bit x86)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Standard x64 Edition
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise x64 Edition
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition (32-bit x86)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 Edition
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition (32-Bit x86)
Other versions of Microsoft Windows do not cause this problem.
