Re-Editing a Virtual Machine Before a Previous Edit Completes Fails (2205)

Why do I sometimes get an error message when I edit a virtual machine?

Solution

If you start a virtual machine edit operation before a previous edit operation on the same virtual machine is completed, your edit operation might return an error message preventing concurrent access on the virtual machine.

To solve this problem, retry the edit operation after the previous edit operation completes.
