Closure tasks do not get imported when importing a workflow template through the Server Console

Symptoms

Closure tasks do not get imported when importing a workflow template through the Server Console.
This issue affects VMware Service Manager 8.0 and VMware vCloud Request Manager 1.0.

Resolution

This issue occurs due to the Stencil Import Request Details query. This query is used to import workflow template data and the data on closure tasks related to setting request data. When importing the template through the Server Console, the insert query does not link a valid submission form to the closure task record, and thus causes a constraint violation that prevents the closure task from being imported.

VMware is aware of this issue.
