The VMware management interface creates new virtual machines running Microsoft Windows 2003 Small Business Server with the Buslogic SCSI adapter by default. Which SCSI adapter should I use with Windows 2003 Small Business Server?

Solution

VMware recommends using the LSILogic SCSI adapter with virtual machines running Windows 2003 Small Business Server. When you create a new virtual machine to run Windows 2003 Small Business Server using the VMware management interface, be sure to select the LSILogic SCSI adapter.
