Summaries and Symptoms
This patch updates the scsi-hpsa VIB to resolve an issue where, when you execute the cat command on a HP Smart Array controller with about 40 or more logical unit numbers, the ESXi host fails with a purple diagnostic screen. This happens because of the buffer overflow and data truncation in hpsc handler.
