Restarting vCenter Server removes the configured SDRS scheduled tasks (2045520)

Symptoms

  • Configured Storage DRS (SDRS) scheduled tasks disappear after vCenter Server is restarted
  • Scheduled SDRS tasks are lost after a vCenter Server restart

Resolution

This is a known issue in vCenter Server 5.0 and is being investigated by VMware.
 
A resolution for this issue is scheduled for a future release of vCenter Server 5.0.

Note: This issue does not occur in vCenter Server 5.1.
