Symptoms
- Creating a Link between CMDB Items with impact set using the API creates the link, but does not set the impact flags.
- It is not possible to set the impact via the API on a CMDB item.
- You are unable to set the impact on a CMDB item, even if the override link type is set.
Resolution
This is a known issue affecting VMware Service Manager 9.x. Currently, there is no resolution.
A resolution for this issue is being evaluated for inclusion in a future release.
