vSphere Client does not include numeric values in the exported performance charts (2044413)
Symptoms
When exporting the performance chart data in vCenter Server, you experience these issues:
- The performance charts within the vSphere Client for Windows show all the data.
- When the performance chart is exported as a JPG, BMP, GIF, or PNG file, only the Key, Object, Measurement, Rollup, and Units columns are displayed.
- The values for Latest, Maximum, Minimum, and Average columns are missing.
Resolution
This is a known issue in vSphere Client 4.x and 5.0 and occurs because the size of the image created by the export function is not sufficient to display all columns.
To work around this issue, export the graphs to an XLS format.
Note: This issue does not occur with the vSphere Web Client introduced in vSphere 5.1.
