Customers are noted as the logging officers for some calls created by incoming email in VMware Service Manager (2040540)
Symptoms
When a customer (who is not also an officer) creates a call through the Incoming Email functionality, occasionally the logging officer of that call is displayed as the customer instead of the Logging Officer configured in the Administration Email Settings for that incoming mailbox.
Resolution
This is a known issue.
Currently, there is no work around.
A resolution for this issue is being evaluated for inclusion in a future release.
