Unsubmitted Service Orders containing zero services cannot be deleted from the customer portal home page in VMware Service Manager 9.x (2039752)
In VMware Service Manager 9.x, you cannot delete unsubmitted Service Orders that contain zero services from the customer portal home page.
In the Manage My Order screen, if you remove all items by clicking Update Order, rather than clicking Delete Order, an empty Service Order list is created, which results in this issue.
To prevent this issue from occurring, use the Delete Order button in the Manage My Order screen.
This is a known issue affecting VMware Service Manager 9.x.
A resolution for this issue is being evaluated for inclusion in a future release.
To work around this issue, delete the empty Service Orders.
To delete the empty Service Orders:
- Open an existing Service Order that is empty.
- Click Continue Ordering.
- Order items and click Checkout.
- Click Submit Order and then click Delete Order.
