View Client for Mac OS X displays a white screen instead of the desktop display on older Macs with GMA 950 GPU (2035819)

Details

If you use View Client for Mac OS X and on an older (such as 2007) Mac that uses an Intel GMA 950 graphics accelerator, and the operating system version is Mac OSX Lion, then when connecting using the VMware PCoIP display protocol, you might see a white screen.

Solution

Workarounds: Use the RDP display protocol rather than PCoIP.
