Configuring Multiple Subnets on External Networks (2034704)

Solution
Add a Subnet to an External Network
Add an additional subnet to an external network if you run out of IP addresses on the subnets you already have on the network.
- On the Manage & Monitor tab, click External Networks.
- Right-click the external network name, and select Properties.
- On the Network Specification tab, click Add.
- Type the gateway address and subnet mask for the new subnet.
- If you are using DNS, type a primary DNS, secondary DNS, and DNS suffix for the new subnet.
- Type an IP range for the subnet to use and click Add.
To use multiple IP ranges, repeat this step. - Click OK.
Enable or Disable a Subnet on an External Network
You can enable or disable an existing subnet on an external network.
- On the Manage & Monitor tab, click External Networks.
- Right-click the external network name, and select Properties.
- On the Network Specification tab, select Enable for each subnet to enable and deselect Enable for each subnet to disable.
- Click OK.
Configure Subnets to participate in an Edge Gateway
When an external network is added to an Edge Gateway, you can configure one or more of the external network's subnets to participate in the Edge Gateway..
- On the Manage & Monitor tab, click Edge Gateways.
- Right-click the Edge Gateway to modify and select Properties.
- On the Configure IP Settings tab, right-click the external network to modify, and click Change IP Assignment.
- Select the checkbox and enter an IP assignment for each subnet to use, and click OK.
