Assignments for a task in a Service Manager workflow template are removed when a Take Action operation is performed on the task (2034603)
When you perform Take Action operation on a Service Manager task, assignments for the task are removed.
Note: If a Service Manager task from the dependencies diagram of a workflow template is opened, it is in Review Mode. To edit the task, you are required to perform a Take Action operation on the task. Any assignment to the task is then removed from the Task and it needs to be reassigned. Because this is a template, you should not be required to reassign the task if you are editing a template.
VMware is aware of this issue.
A resolution for this issue is being evaluated for inclusion in a future release.
