Cannot uninstall VMware Workstation running on a P2V machine running in Hyper-V (2032266)

Cannot uninstall VMware Workstation that is installed on a P2V virtual machine running in Hyper-V
After a P2V conversion of a physical machine, you are unable to uninstall Workstation from the virtual machine running in Hyper-V

This issue occurs because the VMware Workstation installer does not support running on a Hyper-V virtual machine.

To resolve this issue, you may have to manually clean the Windows system. For more information, see Cleaning up after an incomplete deinstallation on a Windows host (1308).
