Accessing Socialcast on mobile devices and smartphones (2030057)
Purpose
Resolution
To download and use the Socialcast application:
- Log in to your community.
- Go to https://your-community-url/services.
- Click the platform of your mobile device (Blackberry, iPhone, Android).
- Download and install the application.
Blackberry

- Visit http://your-community.socialcast.com/m in your Blackberry mobile browser and download the application.
- Install the Socialcast application and reboot your device.
- After the device restarts, click Socialcast on the home screen to launch the application.
- Log in to the application.
- Follow the steps in the authorization flow to confirm your identity and link the application to your account.
iPhone
- Download the application from the iTunes App Store or directly from the App Store on your iPhone.
- Launch the application.
- Enter your Community Domain.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-left corner of the screen to access the Advanced Settings screen.
- Enter your community domain in the field provided and tap the submission arrow button.
- Log in to the application.
- Follow the steps in the authorization flow to confirm your identity and link the application to your account.
Android
- Download and install the application from the Android Market at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.socialcast.
- Launch the application.
- Enter your Community Domain.
- Tap the Settings Gear icon in the top left corner and enter your community domain in the field provided.
- Log in to the application.
- Tap the Connect button to begin the login process.
- Follow the steps in the authorization flow to confirm your identity and link the application to your account.
Note: The Socialcast application is a free tool for any mobile device or smartphone.
