Solution
This patch resolves an issue where an ESX host might become unresponsive due to constant spew of USB log messages similar to the following for non-passthrough IBM devices such as RSA2 or RNDIS/CDC Ether. This issue occurs even if no virtual machine is configured to use the USB passthrough option.
USB messages: usb X-Y: usbdev_release : USB passthrough device opened for write but not in use: 0, 1
