This patch contains security fixes for ESXi 4.1. For more information, see the KBs for the individual bulletins.

Before You Install This Patch

To ensure that you have the most complete set of security fixes, VMware strongly recommends that you first upgrade to ESXi 4.1 Update 2 and then apply this patch.

Note: This upgrade will require rebooting the host and migration or shutdown of virtual machines.

Patch Download and Installation

ESXi hosts can be updated by manually downloading the patch ZIP file from the VMware download page and installing the bulletin by using the vihostupdate command through the vSphere CLI.
