Support Requests missing in My VMware (2018801)

Symptoms

  • There are Support Requests missing from the Support Request History in My VMware
  • Searching for a Support Request in My VMware fails¬†
  • If you use a filter to look for the Support Request, you see the error:

    No Support Requests match the default filter. Change the filter settings and try again.

Cause

Support Requests filed prior to My VMware are not associated with accounts and do not display in My VMware.

Resolution

For the Support Request to display in My VMware, it needs to be associated with the account. For assistance with this task, file a Support Request. For more information, see Filing a Support Request in My VMware (2006985).
