Virtual Environments Compliance templates do not appear when you click Run Compliance in the vSphere Client VCM Plug-In (2017140)

Details

When you are using the vSphere Client VCM Plug-In, the Virtual Environments Compliance templates do not appear when you click VCM Actions tab > Run Compliance.

Solution

The Virtual Environments Compliance templates are not available for the vSphere Client VCM Plug-In. However, you can run machine-based templates on your managed virtual machines using Machine Group Compliance in VCM.
