Symptoms

  • Opening the Service Manager Request or Call screen when ordering an Item on the Catalog or Service portal populates QD fields with random values
  • This issue occurs only with these QD or Drop Down field types:
    • Multi-CI or Multiple Configuration Item
    • Service
    • Service Action
    • Service Bundle

  • You may either see random or no items in the field
  • This issue occurs only with Service Catalog and not when submitting standard requests on the Customer portal

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware Service Manager 9.1 Rolling Patch 01.
