Searching by the Last Name in the Service Manager Customer portal does not return any results (2016307)

Symptoms

When performing a Customer Search in the Service Manager Customer portal, you experience these symptoms:
  • Searching by the Last Name (Surname) does not return any result
  • Searching by the First Name works properly
  • You have confirmed that the person being searched is available in the system
  • You are able to search by the Last Name within the application, but not the Customer portal.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware Service Manager 9.1 Rolling Patch 01.
