Cannot remove fields from the request screen using Service Manager Designer (2016063)
Symptoms
- When modifying a screen using Service Manager Designer, some fields cannot be removed/deleted from the screen
- There is no option to remove Actions & Solutions from Request screens in Designer
- The Portal chekbox cannot be deleted from the Call Details screen in Designer
- The tabs section in Task and Request screens, including Task, Manage CMDB Transactions, Budget, and Dates, cannot be removed via Designer
- Designer does not allow you to delete the Action Type field
Resolution
You can remove these fields from request screens via Designer:
- Action Type
- Portal Checkbox
- Actions & Solution
- Tabs section (Task, Manage CMDB Transaction, Budget, Dates)
