    Solution

    The ESX Console Operating System (COS) VIBs are updated to the following versions:

    • libxml2-2.6.26-2.1.12.el5_7.2
    • libxml2-python-2.6.26-2.1.12.el5_7.2

    These updates fix multiple security issues. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project (cve.mitre.org) has assigned the names CVE-2010-4008, CVE-2011-0216, CVE-2011-1944, CVE-2011-2834, CVE-2011-3905, and CVE-2011-3919 to these issues.

    None beyond the required patch bundles and reboot information listed in the table above.
