Retrieving the Organization UUID from vCloud Director (2012891)
Purpose
This article provides information on how to obtain the Tenant ID of Organizations from vCloud Director.
Resolution
When a user logs in to the organization, the URL displays the Tenant ID. In addition, the Organization ID shown in the URL when logged in to organization is the Tenant ID, which is passed to vShield Manager from vCloud Director. An organization UUID is also exposed through the vCloud Director REST API.
To find the Tenant ID:
Log in to the vCloud Director user interface as System Administrator.
In the System tab, select Manage organizations.
The UUID is listed by organizations.
