Resolution
To resolve the issue, update the PatchDepotUrl/> line in the vci-integrity.xml file:
- Make a backup of the file C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\Update Manager\vci-integrity.xml.
- Open vci-integrity.xml for editing.
- Change the <PatchDepotUrl/> line to look like this:
<PatchDepotUrl>http://VC_IP:80/vci/hostupdates/hostupdate/ <PatchDepotUrl>
Where VC_IP is the IP address of your vCenter Server
- Save and close the file.
- Restart the Update Manager services. For more information, see Stopping, starting, or restarting the vSphere Update Manager service (1039328).
