Cannot attach objects in the Service Manager Customer portal to Service Actions based on call templates (2010810)
- In a Service Manager system configured to use a SQL server database, you are unable to attach an object in the Customer portal to a Service Action based on a call template
- Attaching an object in the Customer portal to a service action based on a call template fails
- You see the error:
Object Not attached
- In the event log, you see the error:
Infra.Rules.QueryCommand.Execute ERROR: (VMware Service Manager Web Application System #1 SQL) (Query: INSERTOBJECT for System #SQL 1)
Message: Operand type clash: nvarchar is incompatible with image
- In Service Manager systems configured to use an Oracle database, you are able to add the object to the Service Action, but when you try to view the object in the main application, the object appears corrupted
Currently, there is no workaround for this issue.
