Setting the Services field for a request to Required does not enforce this setting when the request is saved/deferred (2009946)
Symptoms

In Service Manager Designer, you are able to save/defer a request without entering data in the Services field, even when you have set the field to Required

After setting the Services field for a request to Required in the Service Manager Service Desk screen, you are able to save/defer the request without entering any data in the Services field

The Required option is not enforced when a request is saved/deferred
Resolution
This issue is resolved in VMware Service Manager 9.0 RP 08.
