The DHCP Servers Scope Definitions report returns no data (2009175)

Cause

This issue occurs because the DHCP Servers Scope Definitions report, which was written for Windows 2000 systems, is deprecated in vCM. Windows 2000 stored DHCP information in registry data. Starting with Windows 2003, DHCP information is kept in a separate DHCP database. This means that against Windows 2003 and later, the report returns no data because it uses registry data to populate DHCP information instead of the new location.

Resolution

To use this report for Windows 2003 or later, you require a custom WMI or PowerShell collection filter. It also requires a new report to properly display the new data.
