Incorrect plugin type for SCSI device allocation (2008928)
Details
When an invalid storage module attempts to configure a SCSI device, you receive the following event message:
SCSI Device Allocation not supported for plugin type #
This indicates a storage plugin other than a multi-path module attempts to allocate resources for a SCSI device. This is likely the result of a malfunctioning storage module or a bad configuration.
Impact
The storage system configuration might be incorrect.
Solution
Check your storage configuration and any storage plugin modules on the ESXi host for any issues.
