Does Socialcast support OAuth 2.0?
As of September 2011, Socialcast has implemented the new OAuth 2.0 security protocol. OAuth 2.0 is an open protocol that allows people to simply and securely authorize web sites and applications to access their information without sharing detailed aspects of their identity. Industry leaders such as Google, Yahoo, and Twitter offer this technology. For Socialcast, OAuth 2.0 provides an easy way for people to extend the desktop experience to mobile devices and other websites with the confidence their personal information will remain secure. For more information, see the blog announcement.
