vCloud Director logs report the error: Unknown VLAN type received from portSetting %s (2006833)

Symptoms

  • In the vcloud-container-debug.log file, you see entries similar to:

Cause

This issue occurs if PVLANs are configured for use on a vNetwork Distributed Switch managed by vCloud Director.

Resolution

These errors do not affect the functionality of vCloud Director and can be safely ignored.
