Customer approvals within workflow components are not forwarded to the correct recipient in VMware Service Manager 9.x (2005986)

Symptoms

  • Customer Approval tasks within workflow components are not forwarded to the correct recipient in Service Manager 9.x
  • The tasks are assigned to the Request Manager

Resolution

When a Customer Approval task is actioned from within a workflow component, it breaks the recipient and the task does not get forwarded when requests are logged.

VMware is aware of this issue and is working to resolve this in a future release.
