Purpose
HP’s provides tools to deploy and manage HP ProLiant servers running ESXi 5.0. This article provides information about the available utilities and tools.

Plan for Supporting the vSphere 5.0 ESXi Architecture
HP provides tools to deploy and manage HP ProLiant servers running ESXi 5.0. To simplify the deployment process, HP provides a custom ESXi 5.0 ISO that contains all of HP’s management components along with any required drivers to fully support the HP ProLiant product family. The deployment can be further simplified by using HP Insight Control for VMware vCenter Server to easily deploy multiple servers at once. After the server is deployed HP provides tools to monitor, manage, and update the server. HP also provides an Online Depot that supports customers who build their own ESXi images, deploy using the new AutoDeploy feature of ESXi 5.0 or for updates using VMware Update Manager.
