Solution

ESX 4.1 continuously logs SATA internal error messages to /var/log/messages file on a Dell PowerEdge system. If media is not ready or not present in the SATA CD Drive, an internal error invokes the interrupt handler resulting in excessive logging. This patch resolves the issue.
