Downloading the Instrumented Spring Libraries (2001874)
Purpose
The Instrumented Spring products are compile-time woven versions of the Spring Framework, Web Services, Web Flow, and Security JARs, instrumented for management and monitoring. This article describes the process for downloading these libraries.
Resolution
The Instrumented Spring libraries are not available as a part of the standard OpenSource Spring Framework. They are only available to licensed VMware SpringSource support customers.
If you are a licensed VMware SpringSource support customer, you can download the Instrumented Libraries:
In the section for VMware vFabric tc Server Spring Edition, click the blue Download button next to Spring Instrumented Jars. This is the same link for all versions of the instrumented libraries.
If you are not already logged into the website, you are prompted to log in.
Read the End User Licensing Agreement. If you agree with the license, click Yes.
Click the zip link next to the version and library that you want to download. This starts the download.
Additional Information
That the End-Of-Life cycle for SpringSource Instrumented JARs has begun. Support for this product ends as of June 30, 2013.
If you are using the Instrumented JARs, you are encouraged to evaluate Spring Insight Operations. Spring Insight Operations is next-generation technology being made available with tc Server 2.6 Spring Edition and vFabric Platform 5 later this summer. Spring Insight Operations is the recommended migration path from the Instrumented JARs, to gain enhanced runtime visibility into your Spring applications.
