Dell OpenManage does not show a storage page on servers with mptsci drivers. Why not?

Solution

ESX Server supports OpenManage Storage Services (OMSS) using mptctl/mptscsi only on the PowerEdge 1855 (Glacier) blade server, and not on any other mptscsi-based servers or add-in cards.
