VirtualCenter 1.3 Reports the Wrong Number of CPUs in Dual-Core Host
Details
Why does VirtualCenter 1.3 report a higher number of CPUs in
my dual-core system than what actually exists?
Solution
To resolve this issue, check the version of ccagent on your ESX Server system by running the command rpm -qa on the service console. The result should show that no ccagent is installed.
If rpm -qa does show a version of ccagent installed, remove it. As root on the service console, run the command:
rpm -e VMware-ccagent-esx-2.5.0-11343
