Time in VMware ACE Virtual Machine Runs Slowly After Host Resumes from Standby or Hibernate

My end user is running a VMware ACE virtual machine. When the host computer resumes after going into standby or hibernate mode, the virtual machine seems to run very slowly.

How can my user force the virtual machine to run at normal speed?

Solution

To force the virtual machine to run at normal speed, close the VMware ACE window, then start the virtual machine again.
