System Becomes Unresponsive When CD Package Creation Is Canceled

I am using VMware ACE Manager to create a package for distribution on CD. If I try to cancel creation of the package, my host computer stops responding. What can I do?

Solution

When you cancel the creation of a CD package, the host computer may stop responding to input for as long as several minutes. If this happens, the best course is to wait while VMware ACE Manager responds to your request to cancel the operation. You can then resume using your computer normally.
