ESX Server 3.0.1 Compatibility with NVIDIA Onboard Ethernet Ports on Sun x4100 and Sun x4200 M2 Servers

ESX Server 3.0.1 running on a Sun x4100 M2 or Sun x4200 M2 server does not support the NVIDIA onboard Ethernet ports NET0 and NET1.

Please use Ethernet ports NET2 and NET3 instead.

Ethernet ports NET2 and NET3 are based on the Intel Ethernet chipset, which ESX Server 3.0.1 supports.

Support for the onboard NVIDIA Ethernet ports will be available in a future ESX Server release.
