The guest operating system display is corrupted. What should I do?

If you notice that the virtual machine display is corrupted, submit a support request and be sure to include your virtual machine log file. For information on requesting support and finding the log file, see

You can try these workarounds:

  • Use the -W argument when you launch the vmware process or vmware.exe from the command line.
