Programming API Allows Client to Unregister a Virtual Machine while It Is Running

Details

The Programming API function VixHost_UnregisterVM( ) succeeds when the virtual machine is powered on. The virtual machine is removed from the server's inventory.

Solution

You should always power off a virtual machine before calling this function.
